A
farewell letter to my Grandpa Ariosto D. Justiniani December 5, 2000 Dearest Grandpa, I remember when you were just carrying me as a baby. But now you are gone. Thank you for all your love. I will never forget you Grandpa. It is a good thing that I spent a night with you the week before you left us. I remember you work us up for a glass of water. After you finished drinking it, you said “Go back to sleep children and thank you for your services.” I should have stayed up all night with you Grandpa just watching you smile.
Please rest in peace now and don’t forget to pray for all of us. You have not been well for a while and I hate to see you go. We cried all night when we came to see you at the hospital. We owe a lot to you for our Dad and our good life. How I wish that I could have spent more time to play with you. Now that you’re gone, I know that you are happy to be with God. I LOVE YOU GRANDPA AND GOODBYE. KYLA |
